Superfood Snack Balls

Healthy and yummy - the perfect snack to give you an energy boost, whenever you need it - after sports, in school or at work...

 

Ingredients (makes around 40):
  • 180 g dates, pitted
  • 60 g roasted hazelnuts
  • 60 g roasted sesame seeds
  • 30 g amarant popps
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 pinch salt
  • approx 50 ml natural apple juice
  • ¼ teaspoon turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds

Chop hazelnuts, dates and sesame seeds in a food processor until coarsely ground.

Add rest of the ingredients and process until the mixture until is starting to stick together. When you can squeeze a handful and it sticks together well, you're done.

Roll into 40 equal sized balls. Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks in the fridge.
